Stogies Dominate, Sweep Divisional Championship Friday, October 21st, 2033 Many baseball pundits expected a close series in the Roberto Clemente League Divisional Championship. It turned out quite a bit different. The Havana Stogies swept aside the Hawaii Islanders to advance to the League Pennant, winning the final game by a 7-6 score at Aloha Stadium. The series MVP was first baseman Reynaldo Aguilera, who hit .357 with a .471 on-base percentage. He had 3 home runs, drove in 6 RBI and scored 3 runs. "We expected this series to go right down to the wire, so to sweep is a bit of a surprise," he said. "But we'll take it." The Havana Stogies don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Dallas Texans - So Cal Republic series. Dallas leads the series 2 games to 1.
