Mustangs Lara TML Hitter of the Week Monday, September 26th, 2033 22-year-old Héctor Lara sent shock waves through ADULT BASEBALL LEAGUE last week with an eye-popping performance that brought him the Thurman Munson League Player of the Week Award. A newcomer to the league, Lara made the establishment sit up and take notice, punishing opposing pitchers with a .391 average, 9 hits in 23 at-bats, 5 home runs and 9 runs batted in. Where the Mile High Mustangs left fielder goes from here, only the baseball gods know for sure, but Lara certainly made his mark last week. For the year Lara is batting .246 with 36 home runs, 100 RBIs and 85 runs scored. |
