Black Knights Takahashi Lost for Year Saturday, September 10th, 2033 Kawanari Takahashi of the Black Knights just might have to call it quits for the season. The 36-year-old Brooklyn center fielder received a possible season-ending injury against the Mile High Mustangs recently at McNichols Stadium. Takahashi suffered a broken bone in the elbow while running the bases. The Black Knights medical staff said he could be out quite some time, as much as 4-5 months. Takahashi is hitting .264 so far this season with 31 RBIs and 29 runs scored. He has 60 hits including 8 home runs, 40 walks and .377 OBP. |
