Steamer Sidelined, Listed DTD by Cabo San Lucas Sunday, September 4th, 2033 Joey Steamer of the Cabo San Lucas Toreros was hurt in yesterday's game with the Mustangs. He sustained back spasms while throwing a pitch and will be listed day-to-day. Team doctors said it could be one week before the standout starting pitcher will be completely healed. He could miss a few games. Checking out his stats for the season, Steamer has racked up 9 wins and 13 losses in 32 starts, 3.02 ERA and struck out 176 batters in 214.1 innings. |
