Ramos Heads the Rookie Class Thursday, September 1st, 2033 For a man of advanced years in baseball terms, Mike Ramos is defying all logic by wading through his first Thurman Munson League season. Nonetheless, Ramos is proving a formidable performer for Georgia, at least as far as this past August is concerned. Today he was hailed as the Thurman Munson League Rookie of the Month. He put up a .323 average with 9 home runs, 25 RBIs and 17 runs scored. So far this season Ramos has put up a .296 batting average with 128 hits, 22 home runs and 65 RBIs. |
