Nishiyama's Condition Worse, Suffers Another Setback Monday, August 15th, 2033 The Seattle Sasquatch received some bad news when the team's medical staff announced that Mokichi Nishiyama would miss even more time than had previously been expected. Nishiyama, who is currently out with back spasms, was evaluated by doctors yesterday and tests showed that the injury was not healing as quickly as they expected. Instead, the 26-year-old reliever will have to spend another 1-2 weeks in treatment. During this season he has made 22 relief appearances, earning a 0-4 record with no saves. In 39.2 innings Nishiyama has struck out 30 with a 3.86 ERA. |
