Day-to-Day Injury Shelves Alroy Friday, August 12th, 2033 Bartley Alroy of the Eureka Hornets was hurt in yesterday's game with the Prowlers. He sustained a strained quad while running the bases and will be listed day-to-day. Team doctors said it could be 5-6 weeks before the standout left fielder will be completely healed. He could miss a few games. Thus far this season Alroy is hitting .245 with 4 home runs, 15 RBIs and 15 runs scored. He has 24 hits in 98 at-bats and has played in 38 games. |
