Thurman Munson League Names Rookie of Month Monday, August 1st, 2033 Kichisaburo Tanaka earned July's Rookie of the Month honors in the Thurman Munson League for last month's performance. The boyish Quebec right fielder might be wet behind the ears, but he's proving that he has what it takes to play at this level. Tanaka hit .352 with 9 home runs, 30 RBIs and 18 runs scored this past month on his way to winning the award. Tanaka is presently hitting at a .298 pace with 26 home runs, 89 RBIs and has scored 61 times. |
