Rookie Wiz Gets July Award in RCL Monday, August 1st, 2033 Though he's only 21, David Guzman really put together a spectacular July to capture the Roberto Clemente League Rookie of the Month honor. The Hawaii starter spun 5 wins and no losses as he posted a 2.36 ERA and 37 strikeouts in 34.1 innings. Guzman has posted a 12-6 record for the year with a 2.72 ERA. Teams are hitting .243 against him and he has rung up 133 strikeouts in 125.2 innings. |
