Ouch! Shawn Harris Shelved by Injury Sunday, July 31st, 2033 Watching Shawn Harris getting helped off the field today at Bomber Ballpark, fans of the South Carolina Bombers feared the worst. The news wasn't quite as bad as initially feared, but the right fielder will miss 2 weeks with an oblique strain. "We feel we've dodged a bullet. When you see a guy break down like that, you worry right away," a team spokesman said. Harris suffered the injury making a defensive play in the game against the Mustangs. This year Harris is batting .314 with 23 home runs. He has scored 67 runs and driven in 62. |
