Blazers, Hops Make Trade Friday, July 29th, 2033 The Bloomington Blazers have parted ways with 31-year-old RHP Loeck Jurgens, 21-year-old minor league RHP Chris Elwell, 21-year-old minor league RHP Cedric Gold, 24-year-old minor league RHP Francisco Zúñiga and 21-year-old minor league CF Jason Colaianni in a trade with the San Diego Hops for 29-year-old LHP Salah bin Atif. Blazers general manager Jesse Donahoo confirmed the deal in an announcement this morning. This year Jurgens has gone 1-2 with an ERA of 8.15 and has 26 strikeouts in 38.2 innings. This year bin Atif has worked 123.2 innings with 126 strikeouts en route to a 5-6 record and 4.08 ERA. |
