Georgia's Baltwin Baars Suffers Setback Wednesday, July 6th, 2033 Baltwin Baars was taking it slow and easy nursing bone chips in his elbow back to good health, when he suffered a setback. According to a Georgia team official, "Baltwin was making excellent progress and it appeared he would return to the squad ahead of schedule. But then he reinjured it in a light workout." Club doctors now say the 31-year-old Grays reliever will be out at least another 3 months. Baltwin Baars is expected to undergo surgery in Savannah(Georgia) tomorrow. This year Baars has made 25 relief appearances with no saves. In 32.1 innings, he has fanned 21 hitters and recorded 4 wins and no losses with a 1.39 ERA. |
