Salazar Blanks Georgia Friday, July 1st, 2033 In an outstanding outing, Eureka Hornets starter Jorge Salazar tamed the Georgia Grays with a 6-hit shutout at The Nest today. The Eureka hurler went the distance, finishing with 3 strikeouts and 1 walk in the 9-0 win. "He had a lot of first-pitch strikes and kept us off balance with a lot of off-speed stuff," according to Georgia manager Davey Morris. "We just didn't get too many balls squared up today."
