Stogies Hurler Named RCL's #1 Starter Friday, July 1st, 2033 Veteran Joe Hardy put together quite a successful stretch in June for the Havana Stogies, earning himself the Roberto Clemente League Pitcher of the Month award. Hardy racked up a 5-0 record in 5 starts, posting a 1.52 ERA over 41.1 innings and striking out 41. So far this year Hardy has made 17 starts, tossed 135 innings, struck out 136 batters and walked 9. His record is 16-1 with a 1.80 ERA and he has limited opposing teams to a .186 batting average. |
