It never pays to take a day off from the batting cages or to shrug off the advice of the hitting coach. It all paid off today as So Cal's third baseman pinned down the Roberto Clemente League Batter of the Month trophy today. He hit .387 in June collecting 8 home runs, 20 RBIs and 24 runs scored. In the current season, Kim Jr. has put up a .280 batting average with 90 hits, 18 home runs, 49 RBI and scored 50 runs. |
