Earthquakes Vivian to Miss Year
Sunday, June 19th, 2033
Doctors in San Francisco said Gerard Vivian might not play anymore this year. The Earthquakes catcher suffered a ruptured achilles tendon during a game against the Eureka Hornets and will be out for at least 7-8 months. Club officials told BNN they do not expect him to return to the team this season.
Vivian is batting .221 this season in 65 games with 6 home runs, 20 RBIs and 33 runs scored. He has 51 hits in 231 at-bats.
