Ramos Wins Rookie of the Month Wednesday, June 1st, 2033 For a man of advanced years in baseball terms, Mike Ramos is defying all logic by wading through his first Thurman Munson League season. Nonetheless, Ramos is proving a formidable performer for Georgia, at least as far as this past May is concerned. Today he was hailed as the Thurman Munson League Rookie of the Month. He put up a .344 average with 4 home runs, 10 RBIs and 15 runs scored. So far this year Ramos is hitting .294 with 8 home runs. |
