Murillo Wins RCL Best Player Award Monday, May 30th, 2033 Fernando Murillo had a week for the ages as he romped to the Roberto Clemente League Player of the Week Award. The happy-go-lucky 35-year-old still plays ball like a kid, mashing and slashing as he goes. The Brooklyn Black Knights left fielder hit .611 last week as he chalked up 11 hits in 18 at-bats, 4 home runs, 4 RBIs and 8 runs scored. So far on the season Murillo is hitting .320 with 6 home runs, 12 RBIs and 20 runs scored. He has 33 hits and played in 29 games. |
