Layne Sits out with Day-to-Day Injury Friday, May 27th, 2033 Bloomington's star right fielder Arnold Layne injured himself in a game against the Maple Marauders, prompting the team to list him as day-to-day. The doctors are reporting the injury as a strained rib cage muscle and they say the best medicine is a short period of rest. "Hopefully I don't get replaced by some hotshot wannabe," said Layne with a smile as he talked to reporters. Currently Layne has 8 home runs and a .330 batting average. |
