Black Knights Blanked by Curnew Saturday, April 23rd, 2033 John Curnew kept the opposition off the scoreboard and the San Diego Hops were all smiles after winning 6-0 against the Brooklyn Black Knights at Blue Ivy Stadium today. The right-handed Curnew gave up no runs in his start, permitted 5 hits and had 8 strikeouts. "If there was a stat for 'team shutout,' this would be it," Curnew said later.
