Barnes Helps Pleasantville Cruise to 12-0 Win
|
With left fielder Ryan Barnes leading the charge, the Pleasantville Panthers defeated the Francis Lewis Patriots, 12-0, at Stealth Ballpark. Barnes, who is rated as the 85th best prospect by BNN, belted 2 home runs, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice. Francis Lewis has now lost 4 in a row.
Barnes had a key at-bat for Pleasantville early in the game. With a runner on 1st, he hit a 2-run home run. It was his 4th home run of the season and gave Pleasantville an early 2-0 lead.
"Nice to see our side come away with the win," Barnes said after the game.
