Mustangs Lose, 9-6, at Batfish Ballpark
|
It was a fun time at Batfish Ballpark, where the Downsview Mustangs and Pitman High Panthers tangled.
With third baseman Kyle Sullivan leading the charge, the Pitman High Panthers defeated the Downsview Mustangs, 9-6, at Batfish Ballpark. Sullivan, who is the 5th-best prospect in the Panthers organization, was 2-4 with a home run and a double, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once. Even with the win, the Panthers have a dismal 15-28 record.
Justin White went 1-3 with a walk for Pitman High. The 15-year old third baseman had a key at-bat in the bottom of the sixth. With one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 6-6 tie with a run-scoring sacrifice fly off Erik Law. It was his 43rd RBI of the season.
"Nice to see our side come away with the win," White said after the game.
