Lancers Come Up Short at San Marin
San Marin starter Chris Langerak pitched effectively against the Canby Lancers at Silvertips Ballpark. The right-hander led his team to a 3-2 win. Langerak picked up the win for San Marin, going 8.1 innings. He gave up 2 runs on 9 hits. He now sports a record of 2-4. The save went to Iestyn Milward, his 1st this season.

Jayden Bell went 1 for 4 with a walk for San Marin. The 15-year old shortstop had a key at-bat in the bottom of the fourth. With one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 1-1 tie with a run-scoring ground out off Jesse Bitar. It was his 23rd RBI of the season.

"Good pitching, clutch hitting," said San Marin skipper Marcus Piscitelli. "I can't complain."

The Mustangs bumped their record to 22-20 with this latest triumph.
