Patriots Bang Out 8-3 Win Versus Jefferson
|
The George Washington Patriots defeated the Jefferson Indians, 8-3, in Pete Rose League action at Ballpark of Monterrey HS, with George Washington pitcher Alberto Morales named player of the game. Morales picked up the win for George Washington, going 8.2 innings. He gave up 3 runs on 6 hits. He now sports a record of 3-2. The Patriots bumped their record to 21-20 with this latest triumph.
Brad Patton, who is tied for 5th in the PRL in stolen bases with 6, aided the George Washington cause with a 2-run double in the top of the second. For the game, the left fielder went 3 for 4 with a double and 2 singles. He drove in 3 runs.
