Panthers Walk Off with Win
The Pitman High Panthers beat the College Park, 13-12, at Batfish Ballpark. Pitman High left fielder Cruz Robles earned player of the game honors with an outstanding performance. He went 3 for 5 with a home run, 2 doubles, and a walk, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 3. Pitman High reliever Matt Hooven picked up the win to move to 3-0. Bobby Gilbert suffered the loss. Even with the win, the Panthers have a dismal 13-27 record.

The Panthers got a big at-bat from right fielder George Hinchman. For the game, Hinchman was 1 for 1. In the bottom of the tenth, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a run-scoring single. His 6th hit of the season gave Pitman High a 13-12 lead.

"This place was rockin'," said Hinchman.
