Lerna rode a decent outing from starter Derek Stumpff to victory over the George Washington Patriots at Osprey Ballpark. The final score was 3-2. George Washington's current losing streak has reached 4 games.
The Lions got a big at-bat from left fielder Scott McKay. For the game, McKay was 2 for 4 with 2 doubles. In the top of the fourth, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a run-scoring double. His 10th double of the season gave Lerna a 1-0 lead.
