Panthers Lose Again, 8-1, to Jaguars
|
Jacksonville State Jaguars starter Mike Flores was definitely locked-in. He led his team to a win over the Pitman High Panthers, 8-1. Richard Robison locked down his 1st save. The last-place Panthers have lost 7 straight games.
The Jaguars got a big at-bat from second baseman Ben Dail. For the game, Dail went 3-5 with a double and 2 singles. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the fifth, with the bases loaded, he stroked a run-scoring single. His 41st hit of the season gave Jacksonville State a 2-1 lead.
"I'm just looking for a good pitch that I can hit well," said Dail. "And not try to do too much."
