Haugh Batters Canby Big Time
No matter what the Canby Lancers threw at him today, Chris Haugh hit it. He easily handled Lancers pitching, going 5 for 5 and helping the Patriots to a 12-3 triumph at Osprey Ballpark.

"The way I was swinging today, I think I could have closed my eyes and hit the ball," he told BNN reporters in the postgame interview.

Told of Haugh's quip, Lancers skipper Cody Coffman said he "would take him up on that next time."

Chris Haugh singled in the 1st, hit a two-run double in the 2nd, hit a two-run home run off Bill Goeman in the 4th, hit a solo-shot off Bill Goeman in the 6th and singled in the 7th.

Presently Haugh is batting .314 with 32 hits and 4 home runs. He has knocked in 21 runs and scored 19 times.
