Dragons Jolt Tigers with Late Rally

The Chunichi Dragons did just enough to secure a 3-2 victory over the Hanshin Tigers at Ballpark of Nakashibetsu College. Nobody did more than pitcher Hau Ngo, who captured player of the game honors. Reliever Toby Priest picked up the win. His record improves to 5-1. Sun Ti took the loss. The Dragons bumped their record to 28-23 with this latest triumph.
Chunichi catcher Kazuhiko Kai contributed to the cause with a single in the bottom of the fourth. For the game, Kai was 1-3 with a walk.
"I give credit to my teammates for this win. We got it done," Ngo told the Chunichi Observer.
