Dragons Trip Swallows in Extras
|
The Chunichi Dragons topped the Tokyo Yakult Swallows, 4-2, with youngster Dustin Adkinson playing a key role. Adkinson belted 2 home runs for the Dragons in the win. The Dragons raised their record to 15-16.
Chunichi used the bat of Kol-in-sen Koo to get the win. The designated hitter hammered a solo home run in the top of the 15th inning to put the Dragons ahead, 3-2. It was his lone hit in 6 at-bats, but it did its damage.
"Good win for us, tough loss for them," said Adkinson.
