Yamasaki goes 4-for-5, Marauders Move to 53-27
|
The Maple Marauders knocked off the San Diego Hops, 15-6, at Legends Park. Motonobu Yamasaki, who captured player of the game honors, was a big reason Maple won. The catcher was 4-5 with a home run, 2 doubles, and a walk. He drove in 6 runs and scored once. The Marauders own a robust 53-27 mark.
Yamasaki had a big at-bat with runners on 2nd and 3rd in the bottom of the second inning, when he hit a 3-run home run. The Marauders went on to win.
"It was a nice win for our side today," said Marauders manager Jesús Alfaro. "Not perfect, but we'll take it."
