In a seemingly effortless performance, Prabodh Nimbalkar of the Eureka Hornets shot down the Quebec Armada 4-0 on a 1-hit shutout.
"Prabodh was just locating so well and using his pitches," Eureka manager Stephen Jackson said later. "He wasn't leaving anything over the plate."
Nimbalkar recorded 4 strikeouts and 2 walks in a strong outing.
"When he needed to make pitches, he elevated his game," Quebec manager Jorge Morales said in his postgame comments to BNN. "We couldn't get a key hit off him."
