Cabrera scores 4 runs, Republic Move to 51-30

The So Cal Republic downed the Bloomington Blazers, 9-4, at Arson Arena. The Republic were led by Héctor Cabrera, who captured player of the game honors. He was 2-3 with a home run, a double, and 2 walks, while scoring 4 times. Felipe Rodríguez earned the win for So Cal. He lasted 6.2 innings, allowing 3 earned runs on 3 hits, while striking out 4. With the win, he raised his record to 6-6. So Cal leads the Roberto Clemente League Christian Latulippe Division by 4½ games.
The fans who came in support of the Republic were pleased with the outcome. It was what they had hoped for when they passed through the turnstiles at Arson Arena.
"We'll grab a cold one tonight and go after another win tomorrow," Cabrera said.
