Bombers Bang Out 7-0 Win Versus Seattle
|
Braden Halladay pitched a gem to lead South Carolina to a 7-0 victory over the Seattle Sasquatch. Halladay, now 2-3, was the winner. In 7.2 innings, he gave up 4 hits, while striking out 5, walking 2, and allowing no earned runs. The Bombers bumped their record to 46-33 with this latest triumph.
Kiyonobu Yamasaki, who is a three-time Gold Glove Award winner, aided the South Carolina cause with a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the bottom of the third. For the game, the right fielder drew 2 walks in 4 plate appearances.
"Feels good to get the job done," Yamasaki said after the game.
