Both teams had their chances, but the Jefferson Indians eventually prevailed at Oranges Ballpark.
The Jefferson Indians did just enough to sneak past the Enterprise Hornets, 3-2, at Oranges Ballpark. Jefferson pitcher Jimmy Vidmar earned player of the game honors. Getting the save was David LeVasseur, his 5th.
John Hadley, who is tied for 3rd in the HAL in triples with 2, aided the Jefferson cause with a run-scoring single in the top of the seventh. For the game, the center fielder was 2-4 with 2 singles.
"We put together a nice win," Vidmar said.
The Indians bumped their record to 15-12 with this latest triumph.
