Hornets Lose, 4-2, at Batfish Ballpark
The Pitman High Panthers got a stellar performance from pitcher Pat Malone, who handcuffed the Enterprise offense en route to a 4-2 win at Batfish Ballpark. Earning his 4th save for Pitman High was Nick Howard. Even with the win, the Panthers have a dismal 7-17 record.

The Panthers got a big at-bat from first baseman Brian Rini. For the game, Rini was 1 for 2 with a home run and 2 walks. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the first, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a 3-run home run. His 5th home run of the season gave Pitman High a 3-0 lead.

In comments to the Pitman High Citizen, Malone admitted that he doesn't always push himself. "But the results," he said, "speak for themselves."
