Late Rally by Lions Secures Win
The Lerna Lions defeated the Montreal Cardinals, 5-4, in Pete Rose League action at Nezahualcoyotl HS Grounds, with Lerna pitcher Jacob Olsen named player of the game. The Lions bumped their record to 13-11 with this latest triumph.

Late-game drama came in the top of the ninth inning. With no one out and the bases empty, the batter, Jim Regush, hit a single. It helped Lerna seize the win.

"I felt good up there," said Regush. "I saw the ball well."
