Mustangs first baseman Mike Conrad put his stamp on his team's 13-4 win over the Montreal Cardinals. Conrad went 3-6 with a home run and 2 singles. He scored 2 runs and drove in 4 for Downsview in the contest. The Mustangs bumped their record to 12-11 with this latest triumph.

When the Mustangs needed a boost, it was the light-hitting Conrad who delivered. Facing Montreal pitcher Pat Hamilton the top of the third with the bases loaded, Conrad hit his 3rd home run of the year. It made the score 5-0.

"I was able to barrel up some pitches," said Conrad.
