Panthers Come Back Late to Clip Panthers
The Derby Panthers beat the Pitman High Panthers, 9-7, at Managua HS Grounds. Derby right fielder Dan Murphy earned player of the game honors with an outstanding performance. He was 2-5 with a home run and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 4. Pitman High's current losing streak is now 4 games.

Murphy had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the ninth. On a 1-0 fastball from Nick Howard, he banged a 2-run home run to right-center, giving the Panthers a 9-7 lead. It was the 2nd home run of the year for Murphy.

"We'll relax tonight and enjoy this win," said Murphy.
