Peterson Goes Wild, But Poly Win
Both teams had their chances, but the Riverside Poly eventually prevailed at Breakers Ballpark.

Topeka West got a terrific performance from left fielder Edward Peterson, but it wasn't enough to beat the Riverside Poly. Riverside won the Breakers Ballpark contest, 12-11. Peterson was the player of the game despite being on the losing side. He hit 2 home runs. He scored 3 runs and drove in 2. B.J. Dyke earned save number 7.

Riverside relied on the hitting of Tristan Erdahl to pick up the win. The right fielder clubbed a run-scoring single in the top of the seventh inning to put the Poly on top, 11-10. For the game, Erdahl had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.

"I felt good up there," said Erdahl. "I saw the ball well."

Riverside is now riding a 3-game win streak.
