Griffith Helps Canby Cruise to 11-3 Win
The Canby Lancers downed the Grand Island Islanders, 11-3, at Ballpark of Villahermosa HS. Brian Griffith led the way, going 3-for-4 for Canby. Canby is in 5th place in the Pete Rose League Roger Clemens Division with a record of 7-11.

Frank Keddy swatted a 3-run home run for Canby in the bottom of the fourth. The center fielder went 2 for 4 for the game, including 1 home run and 1 double. He scored 3 runs and batted in 4.

"Enjoyed this one," Griffith told the Canby Daily News. "But it's back to work tomorrow."
