Vampires Use Late-Game Magic to Beat Mustangs
The Santa Clara Vampires defeated the San Marin Mustangs, 10-8. Earning player of the game honors was center fielder Jose Guzman, who went 2 for 3 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2. The 5th-place Vampires lifted their record to 9-9.

Josh Yeager was the walk-off hero for Santa Clara. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Vampires shortstop hit a dramatic 2-run home run to send the teams home.

"We fed off the energy of the crowd at the end," Yeager said.
