The South Carolina Bombers got a superb performance from third baseman Jean-Claude Petit, but the Brooklyn Black Knights still won the game, 7-5. Petit was named the player of the game despite the loss. He was 2 for 3 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 times. Roberto Valentín picked up the win, improving his season record to 1-1.
