Chargers Come Back Late, Nip Titans
The Topeka West Chargers defeated the Carl Albert Titans, 7-6, in Pete Rose League action at Breakers Ballpark, with Topeka West left fielder Edward Peterson named player of the game. The Chargers bumped their record to 8-8 with this latest triumph.

Peterson had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the ninth. On a first pitch fastball from Matthew Miller, he banged a 3-run home run to left, giving the Chargers a 7-6 lead. It was the 5th home run of the year for Peterson.

"We'll relax tonight and get back after it tomorrow," Peterson said after the game.
