Kinch goes 4-for-4 as Poly Squeeze Past Jacksonville State
It was a good time at Apollos Ballpark, where fans came to watch the Jacksonville State Jaguars and Riverside Poly get after it.

Riverside second baseman Ken Kinch had 3 ribbies while helping his team defeat the Jacksonville State Jaguars, 8-7. B.J. Dyke was called on to finish, recording his 5th save.

Kinch had a game-changing double in the bottom of the sixth. On a full count fastball from Richard Robison, he banged a 2-run double to right, giving the Poly a 8-7 lead. It was the 2nd double of the year for Kinch.

"Win or lose, we pick each other up in this clubhouse," Kinch told the Riverside News.

The Jaguars fall to 4-8 and continue their unimpressive start to the 2034 season.
