Holman Goes Wild, But Chargers Win
Downsview right fielder Karl Holman had a good game, even if his team did not. The Mustangs dropped a 10-8 decision to Topeka West at Visigoths Stadium. Holman was 4 for 4 with a home run, 3 singles, and 2 walks. He scored 3 times and drove in 4. Topeka West starter Josh Kennedy was credited with the win after throwing 110 pitches over 5.1 innings. His record now stands at 1-1. Andrew Morris sewed up the save, his 3rd.

The Chargers got a big at-bat from shortstop Jonathan Rauh. For the game, Rauh was 1-3 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. In the top of the third, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 1st home run of the season gave Topeka West a 6-4 lead.

"It was a nice win for our side today," said Chargers manager Jack Fannon. "Not perfect, but we'll take it."

The win pushes Topeka West to a record of 4-4.
