The Downsview Mustangs knocked off the Topeka West Chargers, 6-4, at Visigoths Stadium. Bobby Petersen, who captured player of the game honors, was a big reason Downsview won. The catcher went 2-3 with a home run and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. The save was Matt Cassidy's, his 3rd. Downsview is now 3-4.

When the Mustangs needed a boost, it was the light-hitting Petersen who delivered. Facing Topeka West pitcher Jim Hansen the bottom of the fifth with a runner on 3rd, Petersen hit his 1st home run of the year. It made the score 4-4.

"We'll put this win in our pocket and go after the next one," said Petersen.
