Billings West starter Paul Beloin pitched effectively against the Canby Lancers at Ballpark of Villahermosa HS. The right-hander led his team to a 3-1 win. Beloin went 5.2 innings to notch the win. He scattered 6 hits, walked 1, and struck out 6. His record improves to 1-0. Nick Krueger got credit for the save for Billings West. It was his 3rd of the year.

The Golden Bears got a big at-bat from shortstop Jim Davis. For the game, Davis was 1-4 with a home run, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. In the top of the third, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a 3-run home run. His 1st home run of the season gave Billings West a 3-1 lead.
