The exploits of center fielder David Lehman helped the Pitman High Panthers defeat the Pleasantville Panthers, 5-0. Lehman was 3-4 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3. Pat Malone, who went 8.2 innings, was the winning pitcher. He was charged with no runs on 8 hits, while walking 6 and striking out 5. His record now stands at 1-0. Nick Howard picked up the save, his 2nd.

Lehman had a key at-bat for Pitman High early in the game. With runners on 1st and 2nd, he hit a 3-run home run. It was his 2nd home run of the season and gave Pitman High an early 3-0 lead.

"Nice to see our side come away with the win," Lehman said after the game.

Losses have been few and far between for the Panthers so far this season. Their record drops to 4-2.
