The Francis Lewis Patriots got their 2034 season off and running with a win over the Downsview Mustangs at Ottawa HS Grounds. The final score was 5-4. Francis Lewis pitcher Johnny Chavez was named player of the game. Chavez went 6.2 innings to notch the win. He scattered 4 hits, walked 2, and struck out 12. His record improves to 1-0. Dave Peterson picked up the save for Francis Lewis, his 1st of the year.
